Chuck Jacob
Presidente
Chuck Jacob is Chairman of Greater New York Soccer, Inc., which owns the Brooklyn Knights.  A lawyer and partner at Manhattan litigation firm Miller & Wrubel P.C., Chuck is a longtime Brooklyn resident known for his involvement in parks, recreation and sports, especially soccer.  Chuck and Valerie Ford Jacob co-founded the Knights in 1998, after selling their interest in the Long Island Rough Riders.  Chuck is a co-founder and director of the Metropolitan Oval Foundation, which operates the historic Met Oval soccer facility on the Queens-Brooklyn border, as well as the Brooklyn Knights youth program.  He is also a member of the Board and Chair of the Design & Construction Commitee of the Prospect Park Alliance, and was involved in the renovation of the Parade Ground soccer and baseball fields.  He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the United Soccer Leagues in the "builder" category.  He and Valerie have three children.

Giuseppe (Joe) Balsamo

 Giuseppe (Joe) Balsamo was born in Switzerland and grew up in Palermo, Sicily, where he developed his passion for soccer.  Joe’s early influence was coach Zdenìk Zeman, who had coached great teams such as F.C. Lazio and A.S. Roma.  Joe became a professional player at the “Primavera” level at the early age of 16, and came to the United States at 17 to play in the old North American Soccer League (NASL).

Gali Maimon
General Manager
Brooklyn Knights General  Manager Gali Maimon is a native of Haifa, Israel, where he played soccer in the Macabi Haifa youth program and professionally in the Israeli Third Division.  After service in the Israeli military, Gali moved to the United States in 1983 and to Brooklyn in 1986, where he is an entrepreneur in several businesses, including Ariel Sports Services, and an active member of Brooklyn’s soccer community.  He coaches in the Met Oval Brooklyn Knights youth program and has coached in the Bergen Beach youth soccer club and at Berkeley Carroll and Canarsie High Schools.  He and his wife Randy have two children.

Gary Tim
Director of Media and Public Relations

Gary Tim is a Guyana-born multi-faceted mass communications specialist. He has served in several positions (including member of the Board of Directors) in radio and television broadcasts within the private and government-owned sectors in Guyana before moving to the USA.

Garth Nelson
Scout and Team Administration
Garth has lived in the  Brooklyn area for most of his life, originally from Guyana .   He graduated from  Sarah J Hale   High School  and moved onto  Touro College where he earned a degree in computer science.  An avid fan of all sports, Garth fell in love with soccer from the day he was born, his father played for Guyana on several occasion.

Shomari T. Ramsay
Director of Community Relations
Brooklyn Knights Director of Community Relations, Shomari T. Ramsay, is a native of Brooklyn, New York . Shomari grew up playing soccer on Boys High School Field with Soccer Kids Inc. At the age of 15, Shomari transitioned to the Brooklyn Italians, where he played for current Brooklyn Knights coach Joe Balsamo.

Giovanni Savarese
Technical Advisor
Giovanni_SavareseSavarese played collegiate soccer at Long Island University. The Caracas, Venezuela, native then played on a Long Island Rough Rider team that won the 1995 United States International Soccer League championship. Savarese also played with the MetroStars in the inaugural 1996 season of Major League Soccer, and Savarese netted the first eight goals in club history (not including a Tampa Bay Mutiny own goal). He tallied 44 goals and 101 points in only three years with the MetroStars.
