
Chuck Jacob is Chairman of Greater New York Soccer, Inc., which owns the Brooklyn Knights. A lawyer and partner at Manhattan litigation firm Miller & Wrubel P.C., Chuck is a longtime Brooklyn resident known for his involvement in parks, recreation and sports, especially soccer. Chuck and Valerie Ford Jacob co-founded the Knights in 1998, after selling their interest in the Long Island Rough Riders. Chuck is a co-founder and director of the Metropolitan Oval Foundation, which operates the historic Met Oval soccer facility on the Queens-Brooklyn border, as well as the Brooklyn Knights youth program. He is also a member of the Board and Chair of the Design & Construction Commitee of the Prospect Park Alliance, and was involved in the renovation of the Parade Ground soccer and baseball fields. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the United Soccer Leagues in the "builder" category. He and Valerie have three children.
