The Brooklyn Knights are operated by the Brooklyn Community Soccer Federation (B.C.S.F.), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to "BUILDING DREAMS THROUGH SOCCER" by promoting soccer at the highest level for enjoyment of the people of Brooklyn; supporting youth soccer at all levels, from recreational to elite; and supporting sportsmanship, fellowship and enjoyment of athletics among the diverse social, religious and ethnic communities of Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Community Soccer Federation is an umbrella organization supporting youth soccer groups, camps and teams, including the international F.A. EuroCamp program, and promoting soccer-themed events.
Players from the Brooklyn Knights youth Soccer program compete at the highest levels, have received college scholarship and play professional soccer in the U.S. and abroad.

The Knights are minor league soccer team based in
Brooklyn . The team plays its home games at the newly renovated Aviator Sports Complex in the heart of
Brooklyn . It competes in the United Soccer Leagues, Premier Development League (PDL). In 2007, the PDL was composed of 63 franchises from all over the country, which compote for a National Championship. The team competes in the Northeast Region of the PDL. The season is composed of 16 games, which includes eight home games. The club is also committed to bring two international professional teams to play exhibition matches against the knights. In 2007, the Knights brought Waterhouse F.C. from Jamaican Premiere Soccer League.

In 2007 the knights were Eastern Conference Champions, The Knights lost in the National semifinals in penalty kicks in
Detroit, Michigan ; they had articles written about the team in several newspapers including the NY Daily News.
